Welcome to this gallery of postcards and images of Dublin. The time period covered ranges from the end of the nineteenth century to now but with a concentration on the earlier decades, the heyday of postcards.

The cards are arranged into albums most of which concentrate on an area of the city, though some are thematic.

The images are presented in a number of sizes and may be downloaded.

Working out the exact period of the image, as distinct from the date of posting, is a work in progress. Where this is known with some certainty, it is indicated.
